Creator, ADVANCED ADULTING : Coaching, Content & Events to help “Grown-Ass” Adults Navigate Mid Life

I’m Bradley Richardson. I’ve had a what you could call a pretty colorful life and career.

Through hard work, smarts, luck, and opening my mouth at the right time… I’ve earned AND “Forest Gumped” my way into some interesting situations, rooms, and relationships where I’ve both given and received a lot of value both personally AND professionally.

I used to have the typical third person “hyped up “professional bio” told people what an accomplished bad ass I am. Don’t get me wrong, I am an accomplished bad ass… but I also realized how anyone can give the self important “hype” reel or resume is BS and the only people that should speak in the third person are rappers and certain athletes. (Deon Sanders comes to mind… Prime Time

  • I’ve published five books about business and parenting, including two best-sellers. I turned a journal of my experiences as a young professional in NYC into the first business book for Generation X (way back in the day)“JobSmarts for TwentySomethings” It became a best-seller and led to me writing 5 books in total about business, life and parenting. Including another book about the emotional side of job loss. and two about being a father.

  • I spent 15 years in the executive search business and was an equity partner at one of the largest executive search firms in the country where I placed Chief Financial Officers (CFO)

  • I’ve been retained by companies like ATT, PWC, and Southwest Airlines, and the largest health systems in America to advise & coach executives, act as spokesperson, create programs that resulted in hiring thousands of people.

  • I spoken on stage to thousands of people.

  • I’ve created relationship courses for middle aged women all over the world to help them determine if a man was capable of opening up or not.

  • I’ve played varsity Tennis for the Oklahoma Sooners and have played with and know Wimbledon Champs.

  • … and a lot more.

The real story… or why any of this matters to you

For the past 30 years I’ve done a lot of really cool things and had a lot of cool people in my orbit. Especially for a kid from West Texas.

I’ve written best-selling business & parenting books, spoken to thousands on stage, raised 3 amazing kids. I’ve been an athlete, artist, executive, entrepreneur. I’ve coached and advised athletes, actors, executives and entreprenurs. I have an amazing group of peope in my orbit. I had a great career in sales and executive search.

I’ve turned my ideas, experiences, and journals into best-selling books that have been published in languages all over the world. I’ve spoken to thousands of people on stage. Hell, I’ve even been in The Wall Street Journal AND Rolling Stone.

I’ve done major deals and developed programs for some of the biggest companies on earth. I’ve coached, counseled, advised, and am friends with athletes, actors, authors, executives, and as many people who are household names and at the center of power. I’ve been in the right rooms and made a difference. I’ve reinvented myself a dozen times over.

I’ve learned and experienced A LOT… on my own and through other amazing people…. both personally and professionally. These lessons haven’t always been a bad ass highlight reel either. And I’d like to share it with you and see if you can relate or benefit from it.

BUT… this is not the typical hyped up BS where I tell you what a “bad ass influencer & thought leader I am. (F.. that.) There is another side to this coin. One that is more common than you think… and that many people can identify with.

I’ve won big, lost big, made and lost tons of money, loved big and had my heart ripped and come back again … several times over

I’ve won AND lost… both personally AND professionally.

I’ve made and lost tons of money, loved hard and been heartbroken, been on top of the world and bulletproof and I’ve been depressed fighting a dark night of the soul several times.

I’ve gotten it right and nailed it many times, but I’ve made mistakes, and have a laundry list of things I’d like to “ do over”.

I’ve been a good man and I’ve been an a** hole. There have been times I’ve done what I’ve said I’d do and times I’ve let people down.  I’ve been strong and stood tall and powerful… and I’ve been weak and played small.

There are many times I’ve have gotten it right and hit it out of the park… and there also many times  I’ve made mistakes, and have a laundry list of things I’d like a “ do over” on to show for it.

… but along the way I took the lessons and got back up and am on a constant quest to learn and experience more, and to do more personally and professionally, to be a smarter and better man, dad, partner, friend, provider, business person for as many days as I have left here. When I check out… I don’t want there to be any gas left in the tank and know that I worked to level up as a person.

Maybe you can relate to that. If so, you’re my people.
