There will be moments… just lean in & trust
Earlier last week someone made a rather prophetic statement to me. This person has proven to be right in the past… so I leaned in and listened.
They said, “Bradley, you have no idea what you have stepped into and whats ahead for you. Things are taking off and moving so fast there will be moments when you will catch yourself and wonder if it’s real, or if you really are where you are, or with the people you are surrounded by, or you will stop and be surprised by what you’re actually doing.”
They went on to say that, “There will be moments when you’ll have doubts or question it , but just lean in and trust… You’ve earned it. Everything you have done, been through, and experienced, especially over the past eight years… Has put you right here and all that is behind you. And in about four years you’re gonna wake up and look around and all of it will just seem so normal… because this simply is your life.”
As I left Austin Friday afternoon, I reflected on the week, the people in my orbit personally and professionally, what’s ahead, And about the things, people and opportunities put before me that are way beyond serendipity or coincidence …and ya know what, I believe the person who told me that just might be right!
